A BEAUTIFUL DUET

This is a lovely song recommended to me by my son and his wife. It was sung at the 2007 Latin Grammy Awards. One of the best duets I've ever heard, Andrea Bocelli (tenor) and Laura Pausini, both italians, were probably the best part of the evening. The melody is so powerful and the words are just so ... right. Live your life without fear; you need experiences to create memories.

Here's the video, with lyrics below. (For an English/Italian version click on Dare to Live photo on the left)

VIVE YA -
Sung by Andrea Bocelli and Laura Pausini

Yo tan solo tengo a mi vida

Te digo no ...... Te digo sí ....... Atrévete.... Y vive

LOVE OF MY LIFE

The words used were "Disappointing", "poor", and "not the same". I am of course referring to the Queen + Paul Rodgers Tour.

I was never really a fan of Queen, though I have to admit that Freddy Mercury's voice is outstanding. The lyrics are also good, and some of their songs are quite exeptional.

This one's my favourite. Written and composed by Freddy mercury, it first appeared on the night at the Opera album.

Video and lyrics, as usual. Enjoy.

Love of my life, you hurt me. You've broken my heart and now you leave me.
Love of my life can't you see. Bring it back, bring it back. Don't take it away from me,
because you dont know what it means to me. (beautiful)
Love of my life dont leave me. You've stolen my love, you now now desert me.
Love of my life cant you see. Bring it back, bring it back. Don't take it away from me,
because you dont know what it means to me.
You will remember when this is blown over and everything's all by the way.
When I grow older, I will be there at your side to remind you how I still love you, I still love you.
Hurry back. Hurry back. Don't take it away from me,
because you don't know what it means to me.
Love of my life,Love of my life.
OOOHHH.
